THE 1ST RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

The new building project is being realized according to the designs of the renowned Basel architects Herzog & de Meuron and stands for high-quality densification. The striking buildings will dominate Badenerstrasse. The name “Tilia”, Latin for lime tree, refers to Lindenplatz and the large lime tree in the courtyard of the development. The development consists of six buildings, including a 30-metre-high residential building, a timber-framed building and four garden houses, some of which are connected to each other via arcades and bridges and are accessed underground via an underground car park.
A total of 72 differently designed, stylish, high-quality rental apartments with a variety of floor plan typologies, ranging from 1.5-room to 4.5-room apartments, will be built.
Commercial and restaurant space will be created on the first floor along Badenerstrasse. These are currently being marketed or have already been let. Bindella, for example, will take over a restaurant space with the Santa Lucia. Once the development is completed, the SNBS Silver label, which stands for a sustainable and future-oriented building standard, will be sought.
The apartments and commercial space will be occupied in two stages:
Building E / F / G / H: upon agreement
Building A / B: March 1st 2025
